You will be provided a 12-foot x 12-foot space and will be responsible for providing everything including tents, chairs, tables, and display material. The location for each vendor will be given out on a first-come-first-served basis. Electricity will not be provided. Vendors are allowed to bring in bottled water and soft drinks for personal consumption but we are asking vendors to NOT SELL DRINKS as that is one of the few mechanisms we have to make money at the festival.
The festival grounds will be open by 8:30 am for loading and setting up, and you will be expected to be festival-ready by 10:45 am on the day of the festival. Although the festival will end at 6:30 pm, vendors can begin breaking down their tent as early as 5:30 pm.
Foodservice ware and related packaging account for the majority of waste generated at the Festival. The Festival brings awareness to the global waste problem and is an educational opportunity for guests to learn about waste
reduction. We encourage no Styrofoam or compostable food service ware to be allowed at the Festival. It is integral that vendors determine ways in which the materials needed to serve food and beverages at this event can be reduced. Please consider the following guidelines:
- Choose the lightest weight food service ware and packaging possible. For example,
- paper plates instead of to-go boxes.
- Offer condiments at your booth space rather than single-serving containers.
- Provide straws only on request.
- Provide napkins directly to customers with their meals rather than making them available for self-service.
